Diaper Bag 101
Often times when prepping for baby, we worry too much about the big things that we need and forget about the little things that we actually use every day. It turns out that your diaper bag will likely be used more than anything else you've purchased for this new little human in your life. We figured it was time to share our diaper bag basics to help keep you organized when toting all of your baby loot around town.Â
1. Try to Find a Simple Bag. A few of our NEAT mom's can attest to the fact that it isn't easy to find a simple diaper bag. They just don't seem to exist! Every bag made for baby has more compartments than one can count. Making it even more difficult to keep track of all of the junk you have to haul around. These are some of our favorites!
2. Contain Everything. There are lots of little things that can fly loose in your bag. If you have a way to contain each one of these items, you won't have to dig in your bag to find that one binkie that, in the moment, will save your life. We recommend using a few different bags inside your one big bag to contain these items. Our friends over at Truffle make these amazing pouches that you can see inside of and the colors allow you to categorize everything individually.Â
3. Clean It Out. We get it! There isn't time in the day to shower, let alone clean out your diaper bag. All we are requesting is 1x/week. Make sure you are lugging only the necessities. Clear out the old snacks, the dirty binkies (and diapers for that matter) and make sure you have replenished everything that will get you through a day away from the house.Â
Please let us know if you have any more questions on how to get organized for baby. We've got you covered from nurseries to playrooms! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
