To put it simply, NEAT Method wouldn't be successful without our amazing partners. With that said, we thought it would be fun to feature some of our favorite partners from across the Nation and one of the first that came to mind was, Chey Castro in Scottsdale, Arizona. Chey is one of the top luxury Realtors in the area and represents some of the most incredible homes in Arizona. Our NEAT girl, Mika has had the pleasure of working with him over the years and we thought we would share what makes him so great!
NM:: Tell us a little about yourself – where are you from? How long have you lived in the Scottsdale area?Â
CC:: I am a proud native of Arizona, and graduated from Arizona State University (4.0 GPA; Summa Cum Laude) with a degree in Finance and went on to earn my Masters of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. Since I’ve always loved Arizona, I then moved back home — I honestly can’t imagine living or working anywhere else.
Â
NM:: That’s so great to have such strong roots in Arizona! Tell us, what got you into the Real Estate world? How long have you been working in the field?
CC:: When I returned to Arizona from Notre Dame, I became a Senior Financial Analyst for DMB Associates, a respected real estate developer specializing in high-end master planned communities. During my tenure at DMB Associates, I assisted in creating and maintaining the pro forma for the high-end master planned communities of DC Ranch / Silverleaf in North Scottsdale, Glenwild in Park City, Utah and Kukui’ula in Hawaii. It was during this time that I followed my dreams and eventually became part of the on-site sales team servicing the exclusive community of Silverleaf. This experience fueled and solidified my passion for high-end real estate sales and I have been doing it ever since!
NM:: Do you have any particular areas that you specialize in? Â
CC:: My zip code of choice is 85255 and specifically, DC Ranch, Silverleaf and Windgate Ranch are my specialties.
Â
NM:: At NEAT we love seeing our favorite clients again and again. Tell us a bit about your favorite client. Â
CC:: My favorite client is someone I met at an Open House and I ended up selling three of their homes and they referred me two buyer leads. I love working with referrals and I try to provide the best service possible.
NM:: So, if someone is buying a house, what is the biggest tip you could give them? Â
CC:: Make sure you work with an agent that knows the areas you are looking for and has a good network for "pocket listings" which are homes that are not in MLS but are still for sale. Â
Â
NM:: Ooooooooh! Pocket listings! We like the sound of that! How about if someone is selling a house, what is the best piece of advice you have? Â Â
CC:: Make sure your Realtor gets the best professional photography and virtual tour possible because 95% of buyers look online first so you need to make sure your home POPS online!!!
NM:: Now, let’s talk Chey + NEAT! We know you have worked with Mika, what have you done together?  Â
CC:: For three big buyer clients I have had, she did all of the organizing for them when they moved into their new homes. It was incredible and my clients loved it.

Â
Â
NM:: That’s what we love to hear! What is the best part of working with NEAT?  Â
CC:: Mika was so professional and I paid for her services for my clients as a closing gift and they absolutely LOVED it. Each client raved how awesome she was and how organized their pantry and closets are. The next time I represent a buyer on a big home, I am definitely going to hire her again for a closing gift!! Â
NM:: So, I guess this goes without saying but would you recommend that a client work with NEAT Method?
CC:: 100%!!!!!
A big thanks to Chey for taking the time to answer all of our questions and for working with NEAT! Please check out Chey's website – even if you aren't looking for a home in Arizona, if you are like us, it's always fun to check out an amazing home!
Happy Thursday!
